Marrakech, Bab Doukkala in the center of the Medina: hammam, massages and spa

Well being activities at the Hotel

Climb on the roof of the riad, stay calme, lie down under the orange trees or try a unique steam ceremony... with wooden charcoal of course ...

Total relaxation, Moroccan massage can not be described, it has to be experienced, that's all ...

Activities around the hotel

With its part of mystery and rituals, we immediately can fall in love with Marrakech. We take a taxi from the riad or walk along to reach the Jemaa El Fna Square in less than 10 minutes. We discover small traders, artisans, the collective oven bread, the smells and Moroccan spices. From the souk of the tinsmiths to the jewelers, leather, wood, carpets, wool, copper, ceramics ... take the time to stroll.

Then go join the golf in  the Palmeraie or the Villa Majorelle of Yves Saint Laurent. To take full eye, Al Bahia Palace is one of the most beautiful in Marrakech. Built in the late 19th century, it covers 8 hectares with beautiful fragrant gardens. You can discover the Koranic school, the Madrasa. Visit the Dar Si Said Museum is a must. Local objects, ornaments, weapons and carpets are just as remarkable as the architecture of the building.

After these visits, take the time to stroll through the beautiful gardens of the city. The one of the Menara, dating from the twelfth century, covers 96 hectares, covered with olive trees. The garden of Agdal, further south in the walls of the Royal Palace is also worth a stop.

Time for a tour, we leave for Essaouira. At the water's edge, this former Portuguese fortified city denotes with classic Moroccan architecture. That's when we escape to the Ourika Valley, to meet the Berber people, the eternal guardians of the High Atlas.
